I can't think of anything else on A&E that I've ever watched, except for a few episodes of Gene Simmons Family Jewels or Flip This House. I don't watch a lot of TV though.

I agree, but it would have been a lot better for A&E and everyone involved (besides maybe GLAAD) to just issue a disclaimer that Phil's personal opinions don't express those of the network as Baron said below.

I am not against homosexuality. I honestly do not care. I am, however, tired of hearing about how "hateful" someone is simply because they feel it is wrong. Big.Fucking.Whoop. Hosting huge "gay pride" parades does nothing positive for homosexuals. It is nothing more than a "look at me, look at me" display. You're here, you're queer, we ARE use to it already. Give it a rest. I have several gay friends that have even stated that they would never go to one of those parades because they are stupid and attract unnecessary attention.
Not as much as you think.

It occured to me, this wouldnt have even been a blip on the radar if A&E didnt fire Phil, and had just issued a normal PR statement saying that he doesnt represent the views of A&E.

I have no problem with what he said. Gays always want people to respect them but don't respect the beliefs of other people.

I dont agree with his version of religious views on sin. But until he starts making gay calls, hiding in gay blinds, and planning to shoot gays as they fly south for the winter, I'm not going to get too worried about his differing opinion.

What I get for not reading what I am typing. A case of, when what you’re thinking comes out in what you are typing, just got ahead of myself.

I mean, who couldn’t forget the crusades right, or the multiple ethnic cleansings that have taken place around the world...lol

I like what George Takei said, "Being upset that Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty has those viewpoints is like complaining that an outhouse smells like crap."
