I always preferred a double-windsor, until they started making ties so short (or my neck and belly got too big).
Now I usually have to use the half-windsor.

You and me both but playing with claymores and AT4's and Mk 19s made up for itOriginally posted by Pokulski-Blatz View PostYour MOS is slightly more technical than most. I still wish I had signed up for that MOS, but I was a dumbass and picked some combat arms shit.

"Country Cracker" is perfectOriginally posted by Country cracker View PostI've only wore 1 tie in my life and it was a zipper to court. Fuck ties and as far as family funerals its always has been the deceased wish to be burried comfortable (favorite shirt and a pair of blue jeans) and everyone else dress comfortable. My dad and I will stick around after the funeral and have a beer with the deceased person, depending on who it is.

I hate ties. I used to have to wear one every day. Now that that's over, I avoid wearing one if at all possible. I've made it a couple of years, and will keep trucking. I've been through weddings and funerals and interviews without one in that time.
Hell, I've never owned a suit or even a suit jacket. It just hasn't been necessary.

I did always feel bad for the medics and lab techs that were with combat arms units. They would rotate throughout the year and train with us at the hospital and I would have to train them simply to draw blood and administer vaccines, because, they were always working in the motor pool back at their units. They were actually stoked to be doing blood draws and other rudimentary medical tasks.Originally posted by Pokulski-Blatz View PostNOTHING I learned translated to anything in the real world. If anything, having your training would be a nice thing to just have. LMAO @ us having fun. I spent more time gardening than anything else. Free labor FTL.
Always blew my mind to spend all that money to send someone through a school and train them, only to have them forget their skills and never utilize them, oh well
