DFWMustangs stock market game 4 starts 3/25/2014

Okay I am drowning here. Up to 300 shares of VRX trying to avg down. Trying not to look at the blood bath as I plan to hold long term. But dang it is UGLY.

Not helping is my ICPT and AGN are both tanking as well. First true gamble on stocks and it is certainly not paying off right now.

ICPT drug was approved 17-0. Hope it translates to a big jump in the stock!

I am down today (up for the week) but have a lot more riding the market now so I have a LOT more to lose. I was comfortable yesterday making a little and being mostly in cash position. Now I am in, and can't sell due to unsettled funds until Monday.

Just read a little on SUNE... It looks like several news companies have already written their obituary.

That is some serious debt. Doubt it would be worth letting it ride for any length of time then. But may just roll the dice for the short term and see if I can make the houses money work for me.

Word is they're filing chapter 11. I know they have about $12 Bln in debt and a market cap of $100 million, lolz.

I have no idea. I was talking to someone about my VRX, ICPT winnings today and they suggested taking $500 and letting it ride on SUNE. If it tanks it would be the houses money. If it gets back to its 52 week high.....cowhides!!!

500 @ .37 = 1332 shares (w commission)
1332 x $30 = 39960 ($32 is 52 week high)

Well if you are following along.....VRX took off. I actually got back in with 125 shares and rode them for $700 profit. Sold them off today at $34.37. Transferred that to AGN while it was near its 52 week low.


Also bought 40 shares of ICPT a while back. Sold almost all that today for a NICE profit! Kept 9 shares for the pending news tomorrow on their new drug.

Well decided to gamble a little more today. Bought 85 shares of VRX. Either going to lose my shirt or make a little over the next few weeks/months.

Ended up with 220 shares (30.15 avg) and got stopped out at 27.98. Figured it was worth a shot but I was not willing to let it ride any lower. So it will probably take off now. That is my luck.
