There's some big movement to get people in Arlington to sign a petition to get rid of red light cameras. They'll be out there this Saturday, Jan. 17

I got the notice from Arlington today about a hold on my registration. I guess we will see how it goes in March when it is time to renew. Lame ass shit.

The request to block your renewal gets sent to the state and they place a block on it within their scope of control. ( mail and retail locations) The state however won't give a shit if the county tax collector doesn't give a shit, just go to one of the county sub courthouses and you'll be fine.

I have 2 or three from denton that I havent paid. I just renewed my registration via mail, and got it today. The tickets are from months ago, maybe Oct time frame.

I thought maybe it was your DL that they held.

Did the camera actually see you commit a crime or did it just see your car do something it thought might be a crime? Can the camera actually think? Can it be sure of what it saw? Can it appear in court and testify against you? Maybe it just saw your car, but not you...

Fuck paying RLC tickets. Fuck cash register banging RLC companies and municipalities that have contracts with these vultures. RLCs are a great example of why cities are broke, right along with the fucking lotto.

I mailed mine in, same result. The paper said "SCOFF LAW" in big letters across the top. Couldn't do it online. The Tarrant County tax guy says fuck these private companies, and he doesn't want his people spending any time or energy to help enforce this bullshit.

Yup, they don't give a damn. Hopefully this shit will be a non-issue in Arlington pretty soon. I went to Tom Thumb first and they wouldn't renew it. Chickenshits.

After reading what happened to Mach1 I wanted to see if it would show up on my report. I just got off the phone with the law firm and they said they don't report to the credit bureau.

It's only $100, do guys think I should pay it or say fuck it? The one I got in San Francisco for $500 never showed up on my credit report.

Unless they file scofflaw, fuck 'em.
