Maybe you should go into oilfield sales, not only is it accepted, but often times highly encouraged. Especially on a Friday.

I dont drink at lunch or hardly ever....One beer, maybe two, no more after that if you can handle your alcohol.

We tend to do our drinking at the office. Kegerator helps with that. :-)

A couple of beers or a glass of wine is completely acceptable as long as the senior person in the group is partaking. If you deal face to face with customers it's a bad idea or if you operate heavy machinery but if you sit at a desk I don't see a problem. In fact I think it should be expected in certain jobs.

While it's just a beer I would err on the side of caution and say just don't do it.Originally posted by whitetrash View PostAcceptable? No? What's your take
If you don't intend on going back to the office for the day and depending on present company, then I'd say it's ok. On the other hand, you never know who'll you'll run into that may have a problem with it(or you) and could leverage that to get you canned...not worth it.

Nope, not acceptable. At all, no alcohol and no drugs.
Whatever someone does on their own time has no effect at work, but I have also sent people who came in still drunk from the night before or sent them to go get something to eat.

Depends on what your job is. Are you a ditch digger? sure go have 1 or 12. Are you a crane operator? probably not a good idea.

Depends on your occupation. I can get drunk as fuck and work all day if i wanted.
