Don't you laugh at me ... I've always liked the way Axis look and I think the hides are great. Granted, I'd be putting it in a log cabin that has 80% home-made furniture and stuffed fish on the wall.

LOL. My wife put an axis deer skin under a chaise lounge in our bedroom (and antlers on the table next to it). The dogs love laying on it.

An Axis Buck is one of my "short term" items for my bucket list and I plan to use every bit of the critter... Including having the hide tanned for the bedroom floor in the cabin I mentioned previously. Beautiful animals and quite tasty too.

I couldn't afford a real cowskin, but I did get one of those cowskin pattern furry blankets that they hang up at Traders Village.....pretty baller for someone that lives in Justin!

I have a good friend that has a net worth somewhere in the low millions, and they have cowskin place mats, cowskin in their coffee table, etc. I explained the joke to him, he got a kick out of it.

Hand me down from grandpa and it has a hand made cedar coffee table on top of it.. And it's in a log cabin so I feel like it's legit.

But I'm still a poor bastard so I'll wear the poser badge with honor.
