    Absolutely you can get a DWI a golf cart. Although most of them will let you go as long as you're not being stupid. Just the other day I was driving down the street with an open beer and a cop came up behind me and waved. They won't jack with you… Just don't be stupid.

    Exactly. He's a few houses down from where the cart path comes in to the neighborhood.

    You absolutely can get a DWI on a golf cart if you're driving on the street and get caught. A friend of mine got a DWI on a go kart once.
