DFWM Christmas Party this year???

The Cellar is what it is! This place was great. Not sure why we only partied there once.

Not even slightly. Every time we partied at that place my eyes would burn for 24 hours after I left. They are required by law to have a venting system in there, and it flat out doesn't work, just like their temperature controls.

I've never experienced that there. In fact, I can only think of bars where the smoke and smell is worse than FnH.

What was the bar in Irving we all went to in May of 2011 that was down some stairs and wide open with the parking garage next door. The Loft or something? That was a great venue.

Back 9 isn't that bad

The only difference is that they have a patio for the smokers, which is nice, but not if it's really cold and/or windy.

Their venting system has been broken for 6 years, which means you smell like a comically horrible ashtray if you're in there for five minutes, their heat/ac never works, and the waitresses for the most part are fucking awful? I mean, Gun Rack was an entertaining sideshow and all, but she got fired and was a shitty waitress anyway.

Check out the Back Porch in grapevine. That place looks cool and they have karaoke!

I vote for Bonn Lair in downtown Sacramento, great venue, cheap drinks, and centrally located (central valley that is).

Other than the patio, I don't think they have good space for it.. That's why the Back 9 and FnH were both good, plenty of space for mingling.
