I got blasted when I first started here, big deal it's part of life. I used to be the same way on a MX board I was on. When that site got a new owner and they started moderating us the site died a quick death.

I really don't post much here, but I've been a member for many years. I enjoy reading the threads and, since I live in San Antonio now, I feel like it's kind of a connection to my home town.

I post too much, but this forum is my extended family. I don't live in DFW anymore, so this place is definitely a huge touchstone for me.

Anybody who can't feel the love and/or doesn't like the forum can get the fuck out or quit bitching. Or, you can keep bitching! That's the glory of this site.

But you can't tell people who've been here since the late 90's that they need to be more accommodating to new members or to make "content" to entertain you. Just leave and go to redit or whatever forum you wish this place was more like.
