Speaking of Eric and Matt; Matt has been back two days from his 3 month sabbatical and I haven't seen those two go at it yet. I got all excited when he posted yesterday and have been let down. Thought we were going to get an early Christmas present.

I'm sure it will happen in no time if he keeps going around agreeing with his own alias like he has been in the picture forum.

I've griped about the newbie hazing in the past. I highly doubt that anyone can even remember who started it. I've talked to several new members in person before and they all say the same thing "These guys are a bunch of assholes". My response is always "It's just the internet, all of them that I have met in person are great guys".

That said, the site works fine as is. A lot of these guys, me included, have made it through the hazing and stuck around. Anyone that cant make it through isn't going to fit in anyway. Hell, this site helped mold me as a person, I have a hide like a rhino thanks to this place.

This site being largely unregulated and feeling like the wild west is precisely why I joined.
