Perfect. Prices ought to be right where I want them in a year.Originally posted by akfodysvn View PostI have been finding local ones that are in good shape/nice cars for 12k quite often. Supercharged cars have been on corral/svtp for 15 and below. Prices will just continue to drop on them as the 3v is so undesireable paired w/ that body style.

Are they worth a damn once you slap one of those new blower kits on them? Still looking into getting another mustang, and I've decided it doesn't necessarily have to be a fox.Originally posted by Denny View PostYa, the newer 5.0s are just such a superior car, I couldn't even have this argument.WH

Yeah, I saw it on Rosedale in the hospital district a couple years ago and in a parking garage in downtown Fort Worth before that. I bet it's still around. I wonder what it would take to track it down. I bet I can dig up the VIN. It'd be a real treat to get it back.Originally posted by 46Tbird View PostI know you know, but I saw that car in the Pour House parking lot in FW a couple of years ago. Hope it's still out there!

That's refreshing. As much as I loved my G35, it had several issues that were common to every one of them that I had to sort out. It was worth it, but nice to hear that Mustangs of the same vintage aren't falling apart across the board like that.Originally posted by Rafa View PostMy boosted 06 is still holding strong(of course, not my daily). The leather piece on the door is an easy fix. I had to do mine awhile back. Need to do the passenger side now. Other than that, no issues at all.

Take my post with a grain of salt. Only has like 53-55k miles on it. So really, that's not enough to really put it through normal wear and tear. Other than me beating on it when I do drive it or take to track. Guess that's got to count for something. haha. I had tranny rebuilt once I got the blower. Tranny issue was my doing from shifting ugly on stock shifter. Have an MGW that took it's place which I should of done from the get to.

BTW, aside from batteries, front seat rear lever re/declines on both cars. I didn't have a single issueon my 05 & 09 GT's and put about 60k miles & 3 yrs. on both.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I put a vortech on mine at 15k and currently at 36k with a novi 2200 around 8psi, long tubes, Anderson power pipe and C&L manifold. Still stock long block, clutch, and tranny, but I am in Colorado where the da is at least 6,000 so I think that has helped with longevity.De Oppresso Liber.
