I've seen them run VERY low 14s stock. That's hauling for a full size truck.

I've really enjoyed the 3.5L Eco with 3:55 gears, even going to almost 35's on it it still gets up and goes. If it wasn't for that pesky warranty it would be real tempting to tune it.Originally posted by KWClutch View PostThe 15+ Eco F150 runs 5.6 ish from 0-60. They are peppy trucks stock. Tune they can be nasty. Losing 700lbs can do that.

In stock form those trucks were turds. It was because the heads were shit on those 454s. In 1989 my stepdad ordered an extended cab Silverado with a 350 and 3.73 gears and it would just barely squeak out a win on those trucks. I raced many of them.Originally posted by soap View PostOriginally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

They seem to be holding power very well for the most part. Exciting for the GT and Raptor.Originally posted by GrayStangGT View PostI've really enjoyed the 3.5L Eco with 3:55 gears, even going to almost 35's on it it still gets up and goes. I had both the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Lightning and I miss the Gen 1 WAY more.

I just put a bigger cam in a 95 lightning longblock and dropped it in my 69. It should be a torque monster.Originally posted by KWClutch View PostThey seem to be holding power very well for the most part. Exciting for the GT and Raptor.

Fun fact: The SRT-10 is still sitting there, spinning its tires.Originally posted by Baron Von Crowder View PostI beat a srt-10 while pulling an 18' car hauler."It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

I have a 454/4L80e out of a 99' 3500HD I want to put in a 2002 1500 single cab short bed and create my own 454SS....with a LOT more power. Just have to put a different rear axle in it. Figure I can build a nice 600hp BBC pretty easy with Fuel injection and have a nice daily driver parked next to my 87' burban with a 500hp SBC. Screw all these new cars with LSx's!!! LOL!Originally posted by soap View Post

Those were some kick-ass trucks for the day...too bad they had an 8.5 compression 454 that made like 220hp and only a 3 speed transOriginally posted by soap View Post
