Sucks to be that guy. Now I'm curious again.
How did you find out he actually sold it to the other guy? And wasn't just parking it in that guy's yard for whatever reason. Did you end up talking to him when you repo'd it? I'd like to know how it all went down, if you don't mind relating the story. Trying to learn a thing or two, while simultaneously being entertained. lolWH

I'm a huge believer in Karma. That's why I'm an asshole, and I screw people out of what ever I can. I figure they deserved it.Originally posted by Faganus View PostOh, so you can screw them the same way a guy screwed you?

Wait, are we saying it's karma to give the shell, or it's karma he got scammed?Originally posted by Craizie View PostI'm a huge believer in Karma. That's why I'm an asshole, and I screw people out of what ever I can. I figure they deserved it.
ORRRRRR, are you saying when he gives the shell, he'll be due for some negative karma in the future?
Can we get this in an illustration?sigpic

I'm saying the title loan place probably did something to deserve the shell to be dropped off, otherwise Whiteboy wouldn't be able to drop the shell off. Karma would stop it somehow, like making the tow truck break down.Originally posted by Faganus View PostWait, are we saying it's karma to give the shell, or it's karma he got scammed?

REMOVING PARTS FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE
Whoever shall maliciously or willfully without authority from the lien holder remove from any mortgaged motor vehicle or any portion thereof such as floor mats, hubcaps, radio, tires, heater, air-conditioner, starter, battery, or any attachments, accessories or any part attached to such mortgaged vehicle which is necessary in the use or operation thereof or whoever knowingly buys, receives, or has in his possession any of said articles or any part thereof so unlawfully removed, shall be fined not exceeding $100.00 or be imprisoned in jail not less than six months or more than one year.
So modding a car you are haven't paid off is against the law? Like if I just really hated floor mats and hubcaps and threw them away I could be fined?
