About 80 percent of the things government does is nonessential and we would be better off without them. Crash their shit and leave it that way for a few months and then the citizenry will notice that the majority of government doesn't really do much and should be eliminated. This is a general statement that is better pointed at the Federal bureaus and agencies. Local governments while quite bloated frequently do a necessary service.
