    Please post pics of said gold digger. I'm assuming she's hot.

    Marrying into money doesn't entitle you to that money. Unless a will states that said wife should be given a certain amount of money, the money should go to the son. The widow should be happy she got anything at all if it wasn't in the will.

                I used to have some money too but I spent it and now it is gone, I think I should hire a lawyer and try to get it back also. Sounds like your friend is in the same boat I am; broke.
