Worked for one company where a division announce they'd give bonuses for every error engineering found and fixed within that division. Then they stopped doing that when management discovered the engineers were intentionally designing in errors. Sad, but true story.

We were upset it wasn't extended to our division. We'd been banking on legitimate stuff! My boss even said he'd stop us developing new things just to do the "maintenance."
