I think that banning anyone over a tag is a touch overreactionairy. Then again, I'm not one to get offended or care about such things. I suppose it is all in how the context of the quote is viewed. Were some awful and wrong? Yes. But not everything has to be in good taste. Clearly the taggers were just looking for the shock value that they received.

I agree that tagging insults don't need to be banned, I do think they should be called out. The only one banned was because he intentionally posted several dozen N word tags after the racial slurs rule. If you can't say it in a post you can't say it in a tag, that's pretty simple if you ask me. And do not see how it is being drunk with power or abusing power. The ultimate decision on any ban is up to the admins.. I see no power being abused here.

And in the one instance where there was a question of abuse of power, it was dealt with by the admin.
