Sorting out a common e36 issue, these cars have a tendency to break wires in the harness while still loomed so you can't see them. Here's what mine looked like, no wonder I had intermittent lights.




Oh, and I took out the sunroof casette/assembly. I'll be replacing it with an e36 specific CF plug from s2r.









I'll add some updates soon detailing my custon ramped, custom lockup 3.64 m3 lsd and the suspension stuff I've done.

Mini update, I'll add more when the rest of the parts come in.

But I decided to stay bmw and add some boost. Probably 15-20lbs out of a bottom mount billet 6262 on e85 shooting for 5xxwhp.

Here is the car as it sits.



Started stripping the uneeded interior bits for the rollbar and recaros.



Getting ready to throw the transmission back in with a new clutch/FW setup to hold the power.



Here is the new clutch setup, 10lb aluminum flywheel, Sachs HD custom pressure plate and a clutchnet 8 puck unsprung clutch ("stage5"). This fucker is light!! I plan on having it balanced as it is already going to cause gear chatter and noise.





Bottom mount manifold and motor mount that I went with.

Might, I'm going to stick with the ds1s (the silver ones in the picture above) for now. Those k1s (6 spoke) above are the go to track wheel though and they weigh like 16-17lbs.

This is what it looks like right now, same wheels, except it's lower and only has 2 doors. I'll post some new pics after we get into the new house.

Yeah, he texted me about them, even sent some pics. They were e38 fittiment though, so the fronts had the wrong offset and would stick out like cholo wheels.

You ever get wheels? I saw a set of these with tires for $200 yesterday

That's a damn good deal. Best looking wheels BMW ever made.
