    I've had my Miata for a few years now and I'm starting to dig into the motors a bit now.
    None, Festivas came with 1.3L SOHC engines.

    What years of Festiva share the same motor as a Miata 1990-1993 (1.6L and maybe 1.8L) ?

    I've had my Miata for a few years now and I'm starting to dig into the motors a bit now.

    The project got held up by crap like buying a house and remodeling the stupid thing. We're back on track though.

    Turning my garage into a Festiva heaven...

    Need air right? Fixed that.

    The blue car was rolling storage for some time. Finally moved the Festy out and pulled everything out of it:





    Did a quick inventory and everything is still around...

    Sooooo... Ran into an issue. The Kia timing cover and BLOCK appear to have different bosses for the Crank Position Sensor. I was wondering, "why is my Escort motor retarded?" and realized maybe it was me.

    It was me.

    So greenbullitt and I are going to strip down the Kia motor tomorrow and, well, I'll be building ANOTHER BP. I ordered some ARP head studs and an MLS head gasket kit. Hopefully, the valves are still good and we just need exhaust guides. I'll have the head, crank and block to Eddie @ Arlington machine in a couple days.
