    X2.

What you can't see is that Don is standing on the cross member.

Got some Festiva stuff done Sunday. The engine bay is cleaned up and I'm starting to remove useless (to me) parts.

Now for the "Church Up"... I used 66 Autocolor for this: paint, clear and hardener all-in-one. You shake it, pull the red cap off and pop it to release the clear/hardener into the paint and go to town.

Laid down pretty smooth. I'm going to lightly wet sand it and hit it with a couple more tomorrow.

On another note... Festivas are REALLY easy to work on!

you had me second guessing my knowledge so I looked it up... here is a video from Lincoln Welding. 3:00 explains the cracking issues without a preheat
I have, on an endurance race turbo setup. The weld/manifold outlasted the engine. It may be that the casting is fairly dense on exhaust manifolds, but we cleaned it up with a wire wheel and mig'd it without issue.

That made me hear the welding conversation from No Country For Old Men in my head.

Actually, the cutting wheel blew up at the very end. It'll get cleaned up prior to welding.

Oh, happy day! Care package from FRPP arrived Boss 302 34pph injectors:

    ... And plug-N-play adapter connectors.

I got a big-ass box of 2.5" mandrel bends, silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps. So the intercooler comes out of hiding:

And this is what a BP26 manifold looks like after you hack the flange off.

    Welding will commence soon.

Call them and ask, not my specialty. Ask for Craig.
