This sucks. The A/C going out at the worst possible time of the year.

That sucks Chili, hope you get it worked out. I have never had a car with A/C till a few weeks ago so I feel your pain.

Teflon is awesome, until it's not. Do they still offer the discharge lines with filters in them?

If its too low on freon it will not cycle. You have to jump it I believe. Did you replace the main hose? There is only one big combo hose and its about 80 bucks at Oriely. Mine was leaking at the hose. It also made it cool better because it has filters and stuff in it. Did you clean all the leaves out of the bird cage area? That also made a difference on mine.

Just to give some additional info. This is on a 90 bronco that was converted to 134. It was working last year but did discharge freon a couple times. I believe it did that because the fan clutch was bad and the fan wasn't moving enough air (only happened when sitting still or moving very slowly). So I assumed pressure just built too much and vented. Compressor still worked fine, etc. so a couple of months ago, since I had replaced the fan clutch and all, I figured i would just need to re-charge it and would be fine. That is when I realized the Compressor was no longer cycling on and off. That's about all I know.
