    Bypassing the low pressure switch can cause damage to the system. If the evaporator is allowed to freeze up oil won't be brought back to the compressor which will cause catastrophic failure. The best way to go about that is get an adjustable low pressure switch and adjust down to around 21lbs-22lbs ( not completely sure about those readings my notes on that are at the shop) cut off pressure.
