I dont know that i ever had a car that didnt have a drone . Well once aftermarket exhaust was on anyways . Maybe im doing it wrong
I think it mainly depends on the muffler you use. I read an article about a few guys that bought drony mufflers and built an audibly tuned loop around the muffler that killed the drone at all frequencies.
