I have these on my race car. I don't know if it was poor design of the mount or the weak mount pad on my old Groundpounder k-member, but the passenger side mount got tweaked the first time I took the car to the track! The motor sat cockeyed in the car and I had to put some spacers under the mount to raise the passenger side back up some.Originally posted by robert View PostI just bought a set of Maximum Motorsports,

I just installed a front motor plate to eliminate this issue when I installed a new AJERacing k-member. I kept the mounts and actually put the passenger side in a vice, heated it, and straightened it back out so the motor would sit level. Now the mounts are essentially there to prevent forward/aft movement and to support the rear of the motor since I'm not running a rear motor plate.
I've had the box style Moroso mounts as well and those actually raised the motor up some and were difficult to get into the k-member slot. I think they were a bit crooked.Carl S.
