I don't disagree! I hated this truck for so long, but now that it is mine and my daily driver I really dig it. The new paint looks really good and the interior is perfect. 125k miles and it has been the most reliable vehicle I've owned for sure.Originally posted by Slowhand View PostKeep the stock rims, those things are bitchin'.

"Waste of money" is a relative term I guess. $$ per HP is higher on an M3, but at least it's making a relatively quick car quicker. In this case he's just making a slow truck slightly less slow. Not worth it IMO, but that's his call I suppose.Originally posted by Nash B. View Post...says the guy with the M3.
Hobbies of any kind cost money, if it's worth it to you for the "fun factor," then go for it. It could have been argued to me that buying bolt-ons for a slow '98 GT weren't worth the 20hp back in the day, but you certainly couldn't convince me of that at the time.

So what you're saying is sell the truck, buy a Fox, and get more HP per dollar than your BMW?Originally posted by Big A View Post"Waste of money" is a relative term I guess. $$ per HP is higher on an M3, but at least it's making a relatively quick car quicker. The truck he's got will get more HP per dollar, that's not my argument. I'm simply suggesting that there are plenty of better vehicle options to add performance parts to. I personally wouldn't do any more to the truck than a basic tune-up, and just drive it, while spending any time/money/effort on a more fruitful endeavor.Originally posted by Nash B. The cool part about this is all of your accessories and whatnot should bolt right up. Externally, 305 and 350 engines are the sameOriginally posted by Slowhand View Post
