97 cobra: Eaton swap or Vortech kit?

I personally have seen a kid buy a running Mach 1 engine for 1200 and a eaton + everything needed to do the swap for 500. And add 500 for the tune.

2200$ and it made 470rwhp.

The rod then bent, so he put cobra rods and pistons in it for another 600.

So for 2800$ he could have made 470rwhp safely. But he went 2.8 kenne bell instead that he bought new and made 600 to the tire.

He bought a 03 cobra for 6,000 running and driving just needed a super charger because the stock eaton wasnt making boost.

Deals are out there, just wait and find them.

Sounds good. But I can't even find my b headed motor for under 2k. Hell termi motors are going for 6-10k on eBay/ craigslist. Not to mention needing the tranny. I could get steve's eaton for $250. But if it's gonna be 3k to get it running, it isn't worth it. Even if I want a loud ass blower like his lol.

lol its funny cause i wanted a rematch with no passenger and you said your tires were bald, its ok though you wreck it, and i ran the same time as you at the track with the same 60ft and trap so your car must have been so much faster then mine , considering you had 490 whp and i had 400whp anyways now my car is lighter now and has a return style fuel system with a tad bit more power

3. A passenger won't make up the multiple car lengths I had on you.

- 99-04 heads ( I've heard I can reuse my cams?)
- a lower intake manifold from a terminator
- the entire front drive from a terminator
- a new fuel pump. What kind?
- 42# injectors

just run a 03 cobra tank and pumps and stock cobra 39 lb injectors. Yes you can put your cams in the 03/04 heads and make a little more power
