we have a few things to straighten out tonight before we can take it for a better test drive but hopefully everything goes well and the car will leave John's shop tonight. (last night the tranny was low on fluid so could do a real test drive)

John can rig up some shit in a time of need can't he haha. The gas tank worked though

we found that the ignition switch is messed up and thats why its taking so long to crank and start... while you are cranking it it won't start unless you let off the key just a tad.

dad is going to take it home tonight on a trailer and then take it to have the exhaust run tomorrow morning. we can't wait to hear the side pipes.

next up... do this for someone else so we can get paid lol... building you own shit is fun and cool and all but it doesn't pay well at all! .

Worked on a fairmont once and the ignition did the same thing. It was cutting power to the MSD during cranking. Let off and vroom. New switch didn't fix. Had to use a start button..

John thinks he knows exactly what is wrong and said it won't take 5 mins to fix it... he's normally right so we shall see

Dads getting the exhaust done today. The "gas tank" sprung a leak so he had to get another one

Haha. Well the exhaust got finished without any fires lol. And I'm not sure what with that guy and standing on a milk crate haha. All I can assume is he didn't was to hit his head walking under it to do the manifold side

Super bad Sound quality but here you go

Sounds pretty good. A lot more quite then I thought/prefer but dad is happy so that's what matters
