So not only do I need the tires, I need wheels too.

If you promise to not scratch them, I've got a set of drag radials on FLAWLESS chrome ponies. Of course, I won't be home until the end of December. Maybe you can get the clutch cable finished by then. Those tires have never seen any serious power since they've been on my car anyway.

My car for whatever reason is faster then most stock foxbodys.

I beat a 260rwhp cobra.

With 2.73 gears I got a 9.01 on 225 street tires in 100+ degree weather. 2.0 60ft.

With some sticky tires and a good 60ft I'd see my car in 8.7s if not faster, because ive done other mods.

Find me a stock motor, stock suspension, street tire fox with 2.73s that runs 9.0.

I feel like if I wouldve worked the clutch more it would have been in the 8.9x. that day.

When I raced this cobra I jumped out in front and held it to 100, and then he started to pull away.

Mine ran that fast all day long. Brooks blue car when it was bone stock on 17s and 273s ran 8.9s. My car right now on street tire when it was stock ran 8.4 on street tire at 83.

Last time I had this conversation was at work.

2 fellow dfwstangers came in, asking about the car. I said all stock 8.9 on radials. I got "I don't believe that"

2 weeks later I show up, still all stock 2.73s and bust a 9.01 pass on street tires. Don't doubt the coupe. It does well when in a clutch!!

not neccesarily. I wouldnt doubt that this cobra ran into the same problem I did against mike. we just arent geared from the factory to do well from 40-50 rolls. sure we might drag his lights out from a twenty or dig, but mike knows how to drive his car and its geared to its utmost potiential for those kind of races. say all you want, but until you see him run, dont talk shit. because he will make a believer out of you pretty quick.
