Not too stellar... best has been a 1.61. Usually around a 1.64 or so. No boost off the line and 3.27 gears in an AOD with a tight stall won't getcha too good of a 60'.

Have you thought about putting a small shot of nitrous on it?

I highly recommend the race with F8LSVT, it should be a close race until up until you both start. After that I'm pretty well putting my money of the SN takin the win.

Not really. I have considered getting an electronic boost controller that will help me have more consistent boost pressures though. That and keep experimenting with the 2-step and trying to build some boost off the line.

cobras without the fix put down 245rwhp. not that much.

My dad's bone stock 2001 cobra put down 275. Not bad for a brand new car at the time. It might make a few extra now. It could get run down by a lot of cars being a heavy vert, but it holds its own alright 05-10 mustang GT coupes would beat it, but verts would be side by side.

My car for whatever reason is faster then most stock foxbodys.

I beat a 260rwhp cobra.

With 2.73 gears I got a 9.01 on 225 street tires in 100+ degree weather. 2.0 60ft.

With some sticky tires and a good 60ft I'd see my car in 8.7s if not faster, because ive done other mods.

Find me a stock motor, stock suspension, street tire fox with 2.73s that runs 9.0.

I feel like if I wouldve worked the clutch more it would have been in the 8.9x. that day.

When I raced this cobra I jumped out in front and held it to 100, and then he started to pull away.

Mike, what all is done to your car now? FWIW, my lx hatch with only a cobra intake, b cam, headers and 3.73's went 8.7 on street tires with my shitty driving, 8.3x's with slicks.

First you have to define low budget. My low budget 302 went a best of 7.80 on motor and 6.71 on a 150 shot, with ALL street amenities.
