I need to get my car back together. As soon as the trans comes back from liberty, and I get a driveshaft made, it is going for a tune. Should be interesting to see what it will make with the addition of power steering and all the lightweight driveline parts it has. My fingers are crossed for somewhere north of 440rwhp in this little tin can! It's on a safe "start and drive" tune right now. Would be cool as hell to break 450rwhp!

Yeah, Man. I'm done beating on it. 80s are on their way from Lethal Performance. Tracking number has them arriving Tuesday.

Hard for me to praise and get happy over fat ass cars. lol great engines and they run good but FUCK 20 years ago mustangs were almost 1000lbs lighter.

Meh it's the same when the tree drops until it breaks the beams at the end. There is no need to make modern cars land yachts. A 05-14 mustang next to a 94-04 looks huge and the 94/04 look huge next to a fox!

Very true. Hopefully they slim down the new model. Unfortunately, I think the '15 is going to look very similar to the contents of a port-a-poty.

Thats good to know that with a full exhaust and a BOSS intake i can pick up a whopping 16 rwhp for almost $2k.

How do you figure? Stock they make around 360rwhp.

...and since my car already makes 414 rwhp with a CAI/X-pipe/email tune, the based on what you said in your first post, by adding longtubes and a BOSS intake I would see around 430 rwhp, or add ~16 rwhp. Not worth the money, wouldn't you agree?

You're exaggerating there. Even a GT500 is under 4000 lbs curb weight.
A new GT with a manual is closer to 3500 lbs. Unless you're talking about a 4-banger, even an LX 5.0 Fox notch was more like 3000 lbs.
Mustangs are still a lot lighter than Camaros and Challengers at least.

Corrected numbers for my '11 were 378/361, completely stock and rolling a big ass drag radial. With a JLT, boss intake, cat back and tune I made 420/379. I made over 400whp from 5,100-7,700rpm.
