Mavs vs. OKC

We're 5-2 on the road this year in the playoffs. We lost the first two road games in Portland, and haven't lost one since. The Thunder played a very good game last night and SHOULD have won... but Dirk is on a MISSION this year! Go Mavs!

Mavs are undefeated on the road in the playoffs this year correct?? I thought OKC would put up a better fight. Looks like Mavs will get a good rest before finals.

As soon as Harden went out, OKC's offense was non-existent.


Bird is still the better all around player, but Dirk is the better offensive player.

This reminds me of the "Josh Hamilton/Mickey Mantle" debate. I know Dirk is great, but come on, now...

Take away rings, All Star appearance (isn't Dirk right there with being selected?) and MVP's (biased IMO and based on how the team has performed), whatever. Can someone compare individual performance stats between the two and I bet they are a lot closer than you think. I'm off to Google now.

That had to be the biggest win I've ever seen from the Mavericks.
I remember when the Mavs were the team on the other side of games like that (hell, as recently as Portland game 3).

You can see Dirk is playing to destroy and the rest of the team is right behind him.

Actually the Thunder were good for 3¾ quarters and than Harden fouled out and the Mavs took over.



Bird has 3 rings because he had a better supporting cast. It would be interesting to see what there individual stats look like and it might show Dirk is the better individual player stats wises because he's had to carry the team alot more than Bird did. Could be wrong on that but it would make sense to me.

As much as I'd like to see the Thunder win the series, their play is becoming more and more inconsistent. Can they beat the Mavs? Yes. Will they beat the Mavs playing this inconsistently? Hell no.

How the hell the Mavs won this game being outrebounded 55-33 is just freaking insane to think about. Thankfully, OKC turned the ball over many, many times and Dirk was....well....Dirk! Larry Bird ain't got nothing on Dirk!
