What the fruck is Jesus Jones doing? We are falling behind rapidly here.

Latest reports say that the Joneses don't feel there is any rush to sign a safety before August 4th. Elam as well as others want too much money, and they are confident they will be able to sign someone at their terms as time moves on.

How does a team having media coverage equate to a team full of divas?

This team, and last years doesn't really have any divas. They are going to get alot of coverage because they are the Cowboys, not because of the players that are on the team.

He apparently is going to report in the next 2 days according to reports on Twitter. The new CBA is penalizing the players a ton for each day holding out. I normally take the team side, but in Jackson's case he is VASTLY underpaid. This guy is only making $600K this year, no one can say that's fair for the caliber of player he is. Either way the Eagles need him, he better report ASAP! I'm sure they will extend Vick, I won't bank on an extension for Jackson. Jackson is a free agent next year if he gets the full accrual for this season. So he is going to report....

600K is more than I make a year, you play a game that not many will get to play. Quit your bitching and go do your job. If you and me decided to holdout from our job cause we want to get paid then we get fired.

So Desean Jackson isn't going to end his holdout yet, always one mother fucker that dosen't see the whole picture

Jesus, now they are saying Philly is going after Lofa Tatupu at LB.

I hope the Birds don't get Tatupu. Decent backer, but his knees are shot. With Philly's new stable of CB's the middle of the field is going to be attacked by every team they play, they need some LB's in there fast. Rookie Matthews is starting MLB right now, that's scary.

Eagles have always let players go around ago 30 unless they are absolute superstars. Philly let the heart of their team for a decade go a few years ago in Dawkins. That one still hurts me.

They have always been frugal, never sign huge deals to tons of players, and always work the cap in a way that guaranteed $$ to the player doesn't hit the cap.

On their roster seriously think of who makes big $$. They franchised Vick, so this year he's getting a big #. Who else? Samuel makes good $$. Cole is a beast but not over paid, DeSean is only making $600K, (hence the holdout), Maclin isn't paid huge, Shady McCoy isn't paid huge, Brent Celek isn't paid big.

Who else on their roster is over paid?

It's frustrating at times watching the Eagles let go of players the fans love but they are ALWAYS in great cap shape. It's a well run ship, they are always compared to New England int his regard. They are always set up to make big moves and they finally did this year.

And Philly is going into this year with a ROOKIE FG kicker AND a ROOKIE Punter....... that's a HUGE risk.....
