Weaver looks human tonight. Hope we take advantage of it.

You just may be on to something. Saw this update on the Texas Rangers Facebook page.Originally posted by bucky View PostAdams didn't look right last night. His mechanics have always been herky jerky but his velocity was way down also. I wonder if something more is going on. The good news is Ogando looked better and Uehara is still pitching great out of the pen.
INJURY UPDATE: Doctors saw no significant issues in Mike Adams right shoulder MRI. He has a mild cervical (neck) strain & is continuing treatment.

One month ago (possibly less than a month) I predicted a Rangers/Reds series. Now I'm predicting a Rangers first round exit. How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

I am right there with you. Our pitching is horrendous, and our production at the plate is way too inconsistentOriginally posted by Geor! View PostThrowing in the towel. Plus Soto isn't much better.

I'm not sure what's up with this team. They are horrendous on the bases, and the coaching decisions are shitty. Looking at the hitting, Young is 60+ points off and Napoli is almost 100 points off from last season. Talk about a killer. Then Warsh is ph/dh'ing guys that can't hit their weight?

Perhaps you're watching a different team, but you're not watching what I am. They are not playing how they should be playing entering the playoffs. They're sputtering.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostI swear all you Ranger fans are worse than Cowboy fans. How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

I have not watched every single game but I have been keeping up with them. They are not going to win all 164 games nor will they not sustain any injuries or keep winning like they were. Those things catch up with all teams. Priority one is to get into the show then put together a winning streak to get to the big show.
If not, no biggie I'm still proud of their accomplishments the last several years. Way better than what we have had for the last 25 yrs.Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

I will agree with you there. The one glaringly obvious thing that I've seen over the last three seasons is the way games are being managed. I'm sorry, but bringing in a .176 hitter into a 3 run game hoping to spark some life is not a smart decision. not when you have a .250 or better hitter in moreland, and I'm sure there are more. I hope that I end up eating my words on this, but I'm not so sure that we can win a WS with Wash managing the game.Originally posted by Rick Modena View PostI have not watched every single game but I have been keeping up with them.
