I dont really agree with the decision either, but I see where Wash is coming from, Moreland is beyond awful against lefty and Snyder has been on fire against them.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostPlease tell me why you PH for Moreland (2-2, w/2 HR's) and Gentry (2-3)? Sorry, but you stay with the hot bat.
Wash isnt really the best game manager, but I think the other things he brings to the table are worth just as much.

ehh I dont know, have you seen the last ten games around the league? Pretty much every team in 5-5 or 6-4. Only team better than that are the Dodgers who went 7-3. Lots of parity in the league this year, should be fun!Originally posted by The Geofster View PostNot if the month of May has anything to say about it.

Early on, Moreland was awful against ANY pitcher. If a guy is hot, you go with him regardless of who is on the bench. Besides, either give those guys the day off or don't.Originally posted by GTBrian23 View PostI dont really agree with the decision either, but I see where Wash is coming from, Moreland is beyond awful against lefty and Snyder has been on fire against them.

You would gripe on the day that he's 2 for 3 with a walk, and not yesterday, when he went 0 for 6 (but still put them in position to win in the ninth)Originally posted by The Geofster View PostI don't know how often I've seen "Michael young grounds out to..." on my game tracker this year but it's entirely too often.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

Only against the Astros. He was going to struggle at some point, so they were the team to do it against.Originally posted by GTBrian23 View PostI cant believe Feliz held them to a run on 3 hits with his command being so terrible.
Hopefully the starting rotation have gotten their collective yips out with these last couple of trips through the rotation, Darvish aside. Harrison has been especially disconcerting, especially as hard as he got hit on Thursday by an offensively autistic A's team.
All of that said, I think it's pretty telling about this team that the offense has been struggling (relatively speaking) and the pitching has been struggling (relatively speaking) and they're still hanging in there. If they can make it through a stretch like this then I think they'll be okay.
