This drought has been going on for a month now. Would be over a month if hamilton didn't have that monster week. Something needs to happen. One thing about Nolan...he doesn't fuck around. If he thinks there's a manager issue, he will make a change. They have too much invested in this team to NOT make a change. You can't fire the whole team.

Agreed. Heads'll roll. I just hope this it doesn't get worse from this point. ER have the talent to be the best team in baseball. Slumps are expected, but Jesus. When is it going to end?

Even putting the batting aside, the recent increase in errors (by several players) shows a lack of focus and intensity. That could be a managerial issue.

Could be. But I think you hit it on the head when you said they are losing focus, and at the worst times (division play). With the new wild card system, division games are of greater magnitude than in previous years.

Yes it really sucks ass, luckily they have so much depth this year with the emergence of Ross, and Uehara getting back to form. Pitching staff cant take much more though.
