No. The AL West Wildcard team will be 93-69. The AL East Wildcard team will be 94-68 or 93-69 depending on how Baltimore does today (Baltimore will be the WC team with a loss and could be the WC team with a win; NY would be the WC team with a loss and Baltimore win). If Baltimore wins, the AL East WC team will be the #1. But that really doesn't matter. The Wildcard game is bad because they're having to use the pitcher that would start Game 1 of the ALDS, in a game just to get to the ALDS.

Yes. We are guaranteed a wild card game in the event of a loss. Though we need a win today, a convincibg one, to start building some sort of confidence and momentum.

I'm inclined to agree. The Ranger's had their shot two years in a row, and failed. Very few members of the team are playing up to the standards they set two years ago. IF they should lose tonight, I would like to see a new manager next year. I'm not placing the blame on Washington, but you can't fire the team, and his flaws showed up more than ever this season, IMHO.

If they lose today and Friday something better change
