How do you not keep Kidd at least? This is just so hard to watch.

If this team is just Dirk I really think they should trade him.....it would be just to hard to watch him try to carry this team on his back by himself.
I agree, Dirk needs to go somewhere with another shot... Chi town needs a good forward...

I know someone who could carry the Mavs but I'm not going there, just funny since everyone hates him in Dallas. Lol

This is the biggest free agency meltdown I've ever witnessed! Seriously I'm not gonna be at all upset when dirk clashes with Cuban and demands a trade. It will happen sometime this next season!

Cuban was filming Shark Tank when Deron got away. That pretty much tells it all right there.

Great saving cap space is well and good IF the free agent wants to come here.

    Now Jet is gone.

If there really any excitement to this team anymore?

If we are shelving another year we might as well trade Dirk for Dirk's sake. At least he gets a chance.

Been a Heat fan since I knew who Wade was... I pulled for them in '06 too, thought I was going to get lynched at work when the Mavs lost.

I'm a huge Lakers fan, I grew up in Nor-Cal and the Warriors always sucked, so I pulled for Magic and Kareem. Im also a long time Bulls fan (who didnt watch Jordan growing up?!).

I like the Mavs, but it's like the Cowboys... I cant bother routing for a damn team that doesnt try to help themselves... Drives me nuts when the owner's fuck themselves out of good players.

Fuck Cuban. Since we are a bunch of fairweather fans here in Dallas - I think the impact in the arena will be felt immediately if something isn't pulled off. Of course, the only thing that would draw fans now is if we got Howard. I don't see that happening though. It was take the farm to get him, and Dallas doesn't really have a farm to begin with. We get to look forward to Dirk and Vinsanity this year. That ain't gonna cut it.

This and I have been saying this...no one wants old money which is what Dallas is. Cuban is not spending the money available to him, and Dallas is dead as far as scenery and life other than being stuck on 635 @ 5:30 in the afternoon...we have $hit and can expect to continue to get $hit

Maybe I can enjoy San Antonio or worst case, I can watch OKC and be entertained. I just feel bad for all of the people who paid for season tickets. Cubans lack of action to create a desirable team this year should be reason enough to warrant a refund...wonder what kind of signal that would send him

I'm glad Nash didnt go to the Knicks or Toronto.

I'd like to see Nash get a ring since the Mavs are taking another year off....(again)

We will have the oldest team in the world again with Kidd at PG.
