Pretty tame qualifying...glad Hamilton is on pole. I hope the race stays interesting...and maybe Britney will wipe himself out of the race pulling the title fight closer.

Momo...you in Monza yet?
Glad Britney got fined by merc while Ham gets GQ awards. Let's hope for some good racing and maybe a Hamilton or ricciardo first.

The lap prior Vettel aborted the chicane cause he knew he wasn't going to have the room. Why didn't rosberg? This will be fun to watch for the rest of the year. It's good that it looks like the gap that Mercedes had isn't as big as it was in the beginning part of the year

mercedes fall out:
Hamilton gobsmacked by Rosbergs alleged admission in Mercedes debrief; Lewis expected stewards investigation after clash; Nico blames British fans for podium boos
Hamilton has claimed that, in a post-race hearing convened by the Mercedes management, Rosberg admitted his lunge into the rear of the sister W05 was a premeditated response to the team orders controversy of the Hungarian GP last month.
“We just had a meeting about it and he basically said he did it on purpose. He said he did it on purpose. He said he could have avoided it," Hamilton told reporters. "He basically said ‘I did it to prove a point’.
“You don’t have to just rely on me, go and ask Toto [Wolff] or Paddy [Lowe] who are not happy with him as well.”

i agree, sure it was a racing incident so there was no penalty or investigation needed but it was a poor move. there was a nearly zero % chance of making a pass on an identical car around the outside of someone who is in front and has the racing line. (for demonstration see alonso, button, vettel on magnussen over and over through out this race)
obviously the contact and subsqeuent puncture were unintentional as you cant predict that outcome. BUT, in the end despite any reprimand he will get from the team, he will be happy with this race. he doesnt need to win shit, he just has to maintain his gap.
