That was, "Christ...what the fuck is he doing in the game," not "Christ...you're a whiny girl."Originally posted by Geor! View PostWhat? The dude sucks for ^ his sake!
Wash has been great for the team, but there are a few things he does continually that absolutely baffle me. Oliver/Rhodes is the first, and ever having Teagarden on the big league team is the second.

Guess he had to be put in. I didn't realize that Napoli was on the 15-Day list. Looks like Yorvit went out with something during this game and is DTD now. I think Torrealba is shit, but I'll take him over Teagarden anyday, anytime.Originally posted by Slowhand View PostThat was, "Christ...what the fuck is he doing in the game," not "Christ...you're a whiny girl."

Didn't see that about Napoli either. And I completely agree with that last statement. The farm system looks bleak behind the plate right now, too.Originally posted by Geor! Looks like Torrealba was pulled because he "ran out of gas". That's what I just read. It was supposedly a very humid day there in Atlanta and he caught all 10 innings last night.Originally posted by Geor! View PostWhy is that worthless piece of dogshit otherwise known as Taylor Teagarden playing?
On another note, I was doing some reading and saw that during the MLB draft a couple weeks ago, the Twins selected Pudge's son Dereck in the 6th round. It'd be interesting to see how his kid pans out.

Infield pop-up, Young was calling him off, he ignored they ran into each other and ball was missed.Originally posted by Geor! I am not watching the game, so I don't really know what you're speaking of.
I believe they said that was his second error of the game.

Getting better. Man, Moreland has hit "tape-measure" homers in each of the last 2 games, and last night was a walk-off to win it. The damn errors have come back (59 in 75 games?), but haven't cost them a whole lot.Originally posted by Geor! View PostOdds on sweeping Houston both at home and abroad?

Extremely good. MAYBE Houston can get 1 of the remaining 4 games. The Astros are the undisputed worst team in all of Baseball. If the Rangers want to make the playoffs, they have to feast on teams like Houston - and so far they have.

Glad to see Moreland back on a little tear, he had been a bit marginal for the past few weeks. Good to see the rest of the offense following suit as well.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostGetting better. I don't care as much about the errors as I do the state of the bullpen.

They better sweep tonight, its my FILs 85th bday and this is our gift to him, it would suck if they lose.Originally posted by Geor!
