just fyi, this site is not exactly a great sample of the general population of the us. sure, if everyone in the country were gun lovers who like to hot rod their cars, plan for dooms day scenarios, and wear american flag sweat pants i'd say the outcome would be very favorable for the masses. instead we live in a country that a huge % of the population relies on the gov. for their basic needs (food, shelter, etc.), those folks would be easy to win over once you cut them off, then you have the folks who just want to survive and will roll over to stay alive, then you'd have the folks who actually support the effort and think guns are the root of all evil, and the list goes on and on. finally you have the dfwmustangs crowd, and even some of these folks would flee the country (dohctr), turn them over, or bunker down and not help the "uprising". so that leaves you with what i'd consider a VERY small % of people who would do jack about it.

Don't forget all of the drones that Obummer and his ilk are teaching and encouraging to be snitches for him. Just thinking about this makes me want to get a headstart on those cocksuckers.

Very true. I was fucking with a Marine that was in a wheel chair and we were busting each other's balls about our injuries. The civilians around us were incensed about our disregard for the disabilities represented. Service members squabble but we're family.

Would you be feeling the same way if HALF of your fellow soldiers were sitting around, refusing to carry a gun or fight, but expected you to hand them food and shelter them? Would you feel the same way if HALF of your fellow soldiers did nothing but make it WORSE and MORE DANGEROUS for you? I really want to know.

if the scenario unfolded the way you described it then i would talk with the half that are actually working & trying and leave the lazy fucks behind. if they dont wanna work/fight then they are just as bad as the group of people who jumped ship or are too lazy for their own well being. a fellow soldier or shipmate who is worth a damn will pull their own weight plus the weight of his fellow man if they really need it. lazy ones will get left sitting on their asses waiting for __________ and i have no problem with that







and yes i was on a submarine as an auxiliary mechanic instead of playing gi joe out in the desert. not that there is anything wrong with that, i just choose to put my mechanic/operator skills to work instead of shooting and killing. plus the submarine force has it better than 99% of the rest of the military

For anyone who doesn't know what Stevo is talking about, a gentleman decided to be on Doomsday Preppers. Shortly after his show, the government stepped in, confiscated his weapons and claimed he was a danger to himself and others. They also confiscated his equipment and food supplies.
