Oh man, I haven`t welded anything is a very long time. Is the welding aspect for that all automated? or if you get annointed as a welder - Do they at least train/re-train you first?

Holy shit! I better go out and buy a couple more boxes of wheaties if I expect to beat that. LOL

You sure they don`t have a plaque with your picture and one of the 27 assemblies somewhere on a wall as a memorial?

          • Hamds on

Ok so I don't know what happened. I went to hands on and completed 5 out of 6 tasks. I got an email the same day saying due to high volume of competition I wasn't selected. Now how do I have to wait to take assessment again?

Sleeper assy has 3rd shift??? Is this just offline work? I'm a liner in sleeper assy on 2nd shift and wasn't aware of a 3rd shift. I want to go 3rd shift. I would like to hold out for grade 4 3rd shift if possible. But if they have something in sleepers I would transfer in a heartbeat.

Is anyone in Test here? I've been waiting for a 3rd shift opening to bid on.

If anyone is in the area stop by and say hi. Like I said, I'm a Liner in Sleeper Trim. My name is Chad. It would be cool to put some faces with usernames.

                  • Well I don't know where you have been they have had bids for test at least once this year all ready. I wouldn't expect anymore for awhile but you never know.

                    • Most of us are second shift test fvv backdoor with the exception of a few included that fucker Wayne Fontenot. I believe they are starting a 3rd shift sleeper build shortly. I thought it was already a done deal.....pretty sure that new kid last name Randall is going

Yeah, I remember seeing it posted a while back. I wasn't sure what all they did until recently though. I talked to a guy that went 3rd shift and he explain what he did and that sparked an interest. At this point I want to hold off on transferring until after June 23 so I can get my year raise and then bid on something.

Oh, I was thinking he was talking about sleeper trim. I might look into that. I would really like to hold out for a grade 4 position, but 3rd shift is my main goal.
