    DO IIIIT!!!

Seriously, it's choice. I don't know art, but that is fine art.

The body and paint look pretty decent. It's a damn shame the fiberglass didn't fair so well.

I love the hood the way it is!! It would complete a nice bare wall in the garage if you could find an extra hood to use.

That decal kit and color combo is kickass. I'm into the retro factory look.

By the way, I just installed the 340hp FRPP 306 Crate engine in my project. It's a good buy, plenty of go, there's audio clips in my thread if you're curious.

The fiberglass is actually very flexible urethane, so it really must have taken a beating over the years. It' probably fixable, but I've found a fiberglass repro front air dam already, now if I could just locate that damn right rear flare!

LOL! I started doing the drivers side front last night, got about 1/10th of it done and said fuck it. These suckers are worse than I thought. I"ll get them done, eventually.

I bought a cheap random orbital buffer at WM and decided to see what kind of life was left in the paint. Amazingly enough, there is still a fair bit of shine in there. Still have a long way to go, but it's nice to have a semi-shiny red car in the garage now!

Lay cardboard on the cement. Better than cold cement and if it gets dirty, just replace.

Ebay and CL will be your best bets, and there are a few forums for these. Check out http://www.mustangii.net/default.asp and http://www.mustangii.org/.

If your car is a non t-top car, I have the trim above the side windows, runs from the base of the windshield to the rear side windows. They're in really good shape but need to be repainted (or stripped the rest of the way if you want the chrome look).

On these cars, I doubt this is true. For one, the rear facing opening is too far away from the actual cowl area to take advantage of the low pressure area at the base of the windshield, and second, there is no opening in the hood under the scoop (from the factory, anyway).
