Since the car is already a C4, I was hoping I can use the stock flexplate. Is the bolt pattern on the crank the same as the newer cars?

According to this link, you'll need a MII-specific flexplate for 50oz and there is one available from Art Carr.

When I was in high school a guy that ran Fulton Auto had a black one on Centerlines. It had a hot 302 and was one of the fastest cars in town back in the day. I wonder where that car is now....

Looks to be in pretty good shape for it's age...

Rust in the typical spots (under the battery tray and behind the passenger side rear wheel well), but over all it's damn solid. No rust at all around the t-tops.

Just remember the '82+ 302s are 50oz imbalance and the only MII flywheel was a 143-tooth 28oz. It can make engine swaps a PITA, ask Denny about his.

I'm thinking the new FRPP 306 crate motor would work pretty good. 340 hp and only 2800 pounds should be fun.

I guess that's why Baskin Robbins sells 32 different flavors of ice cream.

Mostly because it's something I wanted when I was younger, and it's not another Fox. I've had enough of them for a while, but I do still have my '85 RS in the driveway too.
