Why did they pop him after he went down? 5 shots he went down followed by another 5 shots after he was down. I know this guy deserved it, but it seems like excessive force..

Excessive force? That was a good shoot. At that point it doesn't matter if you fire 1 or the whole magazine. I'm a little disturbed at the guy laughing, however.

I'm wondering if he was on pcp. That or one of the taser prods missed its mark therefore being inop. Either way good shoot to me.

That's what we were wondering. It looks like he pulled both of the prods out of his face and he was still trying to get up after taking 10 rounds.

Maybe he could have used the dog earlier in the video, but when the suspect is lunging at an officer It would seem to me that the time to use the dog has passed.

You don't take a swing (or a check swing) at a cop, that's pretty dumb. If you do it when his buddy has a gun pointed at you, well what do you expect? It sucks that the kid is dead, but he had a chance to save his own life and he chose not to take it.
