He didnt fall until the second cop fired the third shot. You can see his head and part of the backpack over the car AFTER the first five shots were fired. The first five turned him around the other five put him down.

Did that hurt your feelings? Even with those 5 shots, it's still a justified shoot that will be no billed.

Shooting was justifiable, filming with the window up is not.

Man that fool wanted to be kilt! Do not come outside when the police are waiting for you with their weapons drawn and then make a threatning move towards them, you will be shot. And as you can see here, you will be shot multiple times...

Absolutely. CHL classes teach the same thing. You do not pull your weapon unless you intend to eliminate your threat.

Cops aren't marksmen. Esepcially under stress. Don't believe the movies or video games that you can "choose your shot" because your can't. You aim at the biggest thing that's moving the least and pull the trigger til you are sure you hit it and the threat has stopped.

If you have to apply force, go all out until the situation is resolved.

Fwiw for those asking for leg shots... Police train center mass, or triple tap failure drill. Two chest one head. At least, that's how we do it.

I see it all the time. Some people have amazing technique and skills while in practice. But once under pressure in the presence of fear alot of people fold. Fear is very powerful emotion that takes time and practice to get acclimated to. In hand to hand combat, you can practice at a level of reality and intensity that will allow you to overcome your fear by becoming familiar with the combat. But with shooting, there is no way to really do that which I think is why that percentage of bad shooting among people with weapons who have no military experience/combat experience.

Oh I agree. It's something like if you shoot palm sized placement "regularly", then when under stress, that doubles/triples so you have a palm sized area all the way around your original placement area.
