The guy was tasered and still resisting. Obviously, he wasn't playing with a full deck and/or was under the influence of something. Looks like suicide by cop to me. What do you expect to happen if you motion to strike an officer with a weapon? A pat on the head and an Oreo cookie?

If an armed chl holder and someone comes at you with a crowbar, you fire until the threat had been stopped. It'll still go to the grand jury, no billed.

Yah pretty crazy. With the how many times can they shoot him statement. I wonder on average every time deadly force is used how many rounds are popped off. It still amazes how stupid some one could be if a gun is pointed at their face to come after a cop with a weapon. I wonder if you had your CHL and some one came at you with a crowbar and you popped them how much shit you'd be in.

Honestly? Who does PCP anymore? I've never seen it or even known anyone that's ever tried it...and I've got some "adventurous" friends. And still people use it as an excuse to buy a .40 over a 9mm...for that completely random chance that you're going to encounter somone high on a drug that practically no one ever uses. Anyways...

I don't think that kid was actually going to hit the officer, I think he was check-swinging to try and get him to back off. Kind of a natural defense move to try and create some distance. But, I understand why the other cop had to shoot him and can't fault him for it.

They were ending what they thought was a threat. Once a cop pulls a weapon it is not to injure or maim someone, but rather end a threat, and that means shoot them until they stop moving.

Horse shit. That was hardly a lunge. It was a half assed attempt to bow up to a cop. The idiot stopped "lunging" before he was shot. The dog could've been let go at any point.


Some people display emotions in funny ways sometimes. Probably could not believe what he saw. People sometimes see shit like that and don't process it as a serious situation.

I can't say it is or isn't justified its just hard to say seeing as I was in the situation. If it was a crowbar I'm sure some non lethal force would have worked but SHIT. That was pretty insane.
