Sure, GM is in the business of keeping the Bowling Green plant going cranking out Corvettes because it's a big money loser and they are spending hundreds of millions developing the C7 because it'll be a money loser too.Originally posted by Steve View PostFord chooses not to enter that market because there isn't enough business there to make money. There is a reason why GM bankrupt and Ford didn't.

Where is Fords answer for the Corvette?Originally posted by 91CoupeMike View PostWould be cooler to add some turbos and throw in the direct injection with some flexfuel options. They've done it before on the super stallion. they also had a whicked rear suspension set up they should bring into consideration for the IRS models. That would facepalm zr1 owners. But it's still just a mustang, right?

And that was in 1998.
What about when GM challenged ford to a drag race back in the mid-late 90s? GM brought an f body with a 572 and ford brought a 94 cobra with 600ci bbf? GM lost the drag race by about a full second and the mustang still never had traction. LoL 855hp n/a. 10.3 at 135 on some drag radials from the 90s. Lol! 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. SVE was badass. This shows that GM has never had a leading edge in performance, ford just didn't produce them because there wasn't money in it, they also didn't file for bankruptcy.

This, the ford GT, the coyote and the 13' gt500 is why ford is the greatest.

I really had my heart set on saving up for a used C6 Z06, but this new GT500 makes me question if that is the best choice.

hahahahaha. You compare two one-off drag cars and claim Ford is the GOAT of all time in performance against GM. That is just hilarious.Originally posted by 91CoupeMike View PostThis shows that GM has never had a leading edge in performance, ford just didn't produce them because there wasn't money in it, they also didn't file for bankruptcy.
