I have already said I would not have messed with the OP, but there is no way in hell he was going 27mph.

There was a lot of funny shit in this thread that I was going to quote, but this is by far the funniest. You are going to pay RS a small ransom to TRY and get out of paying a ticket, I have news for you Jr., pay the fine because you aint gonna win.
And even if you do it is going to cost far more than the fine and unless you have tickets on your record right now, just plead no contest and get it deferred. You might have not been speeding when you went by, but you got on it and it looks like you never got off of it and thats why it took so long for him to finally catch you. And lets not forget, the state dogs have access to the NTTA video cameras that are every 1/4 mile, they will have you hauling ass on video and the judge may come down even harder on you, save your money.

<---traffic cop hater, but everyone know this...

If those hash marks are 5 feet long and they're spaced 20 feet apart, then the 1 second it took to cover 25 feet would equate to 17 MPH.

I have no idea if that's the spacing, but if I'm close then you REALLY shouldn't have anything to worry about.

    Feet x 3600 / 5280 = MPH

    or.....

Let's say he was covering that in half the time..... 34mph....

Get real, folks. He wasn't breaking the law.

Where I live now, I could've sworn, bikes, 4-wheels and cars were doing Mach 2 - go look and they are not. People need to get off their asses and SEE people are not going that fast.

In regards to the OP - it's too close to tell about speed when passing him to be honest. Like others, I slow down (even before the law) quite a bit more just on principle. Hard to know exactly what speed other cars were going as well, but I could see how drawing attention to yourself with the pipes got you a ticket.

I could see you getting out of it, but I can see why you got it too.

Probably should've kept the pedal to floor...

All I am gonna say about this is "I" slow down a lot more than what you did when I pass an Emergency vehicle.

AND the driving of the officer is a much more ticket able offense to me, Ridiculous how he made a bunch of those lane changes and the off ramp BS.

Yes, and I did have the valves opened, but they probably would have opened anyway under throttle. I'll let y'all know what RS says when he calls me back.

If you want to see a good abuse of power and be helpless to do anything about it, ask for a trial by judge. They are supposed to be impartial, but they can make a finding without explaining it.

That and a low profile car can "look" faster than others when there is just a brief look -

The video looks like you are hauling ass and weaving through traffic. That he had to chase your ass down ensured you were getting a ticket.

Sucks you got busted, but I don't see any way you can come out of it without taking your lumps and moving on.
