It is rust you fucks!!! Just to rid myself of doubt, i got a bucket of dawn/water mix and scrubbed the fuck outta it. Some of the red came off but it is still RUSTY! lol

Probably going to get it done when I do the fromt end comversion on it, we will be blending the fender anyways.

I haven't had the rear window issue, knock on wood. I wonder if these are just first year issues and have been resolved. What really sucks is that I really like the truck, I just hope it doesnt fall apart.

To my knowledge, the rear window leak is the gasket around the third brake light goes flat and water leaks into the rear window area.

My tailgate emblem fell off as well last summer. The ford badge on tailgate and the "Texas Edition" badge double sided tape pretty much melted and the badge slid down the tail gate.

My gas door I thought I broke, but the door cover slides and locks into the hinge deal.

My rear window also leaked, and the wire harness plug for the tranny leaked no matter what ford did.

This was a 09... don't miss it at all.

Man, honestly, I've seen a lot of rust of all different kinds, and what you're showing doesn't look like rust to me either. It may look differently in the pictures than it does standing there next to the car, so who knows.

Step 1 - clean the dirt from the crevice.
Step 2- seal it with this
