I am not a fan of this trend, but I can definitely understand it. People either seem to work more/longer hours from home, or they don't do shit. The people who don't do shit are screwing it up for those of us who can handle it.

Yup, I tend to work rather long hours. However, I do tend to do A LOT more than than others on our team. Some guys on our team realized they weren't telecommuters and started going back to the office on their own. I can respect that. My biggest beef with this is that I estimate it will cost me an extra $5k per year to drive into work when you count gas and tolls.

However I also think Meg is using this to get people to leave without paying any severance. In my case, that may eventually work. I've got a couple of leads that could have me ending up with 100% telecommuting again and a fatter wallet to boot.

That said, there are things afoot in my group at HP. Our VP is looking to create a new position and has me targeted for it. I'm in no rush, so I'll wait and see for now. It could end up being BS..

Big negative, the skid kids (Marine Corps) have been putting in some work man. The new four blades have definitely seen some action, but the two blade ones have dished it out, especially in Iraq

I was specifically referring to H and D models from the Army. I should have been more specific. I think the Marines use N and other models with dual engines and four blades as you said..

Just started the financing, so 2-0 so far. Most of my sales this month were cash. Just finished up one that I'm pretty sure will finance out and I am in the process of repairing 4 more that should go.
